Nissan CSP01L15S P/S Motor only workes on right turns.

Nissan CSP01L15S. S/N CSP01-9A-1042. P/S Motor only comes on when making right turns. Installed new steering pot at end of steering column but still have same problem. I am thinking the steering transistor/chopper may be bad. Does anyone know how to check this item to be sure????

first get out the potentiometer from the steering column and move it with your hand. then use a multimeter to take the voltage in the viper pin moving the pot in both sides.
there are two IGBT transistor. you can interchange it in order to know if the problem is the transistor or the chopper. first you must check that the chopper is OK!! i don´t know if you can do it.
if you can send me a photo of the chopper and transistor and i will tell you where you can find the problem

Fact of the week
Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
