Discussion:
Nissan controller burned out for water

The controller burned out completely due to water fall, the fact is that we have changed it and the elevation works, the traction does not work, however the contactors enter well and the controller can be heard oscillating but without any traction, when the controller is changed in this machine you have to configure throttle or something, or is it that I may have another fault? The controller remains with the fixed green led as there are no faults, but it does not pull, someone who can help me in these doubts, thanks

The same thing happens to me, I have a lot of espriencia in LINDE and many other brands, but this Nissan and with this failure the truth has left me perplexed, I don't know if it has configuration, it works elevation, etc., it enters the traction contactors but it does not work, hear how the power stage oscillates but it does not even turn the motors, there is even a green led that indicates as if everything were correct, anyway thanks

Juan,
i'm not well versed on nissan electrics but i can say that in general when a controller is replaced unless it is required by the mfg to have machine information before ordering it will only come with a default program in it. These general default programs are enough to allow the machine to run in most cases but all of them should be programmed to the machines specific features. Anyone that replaces a controller should at the very least go into the controller and verify all of it's settings. There are voltage settings and possibly some calibrations that need to be made like you suspect, the accelerator may need to be calibrated, and in many cases the hydraulic settings calibrated and then steering.
Like i said, i'm not that familiar with how nissan does their electric machines but i suspect there is a setting that needs to be calibrated or a feature enabled to get it to run correctly.
