I just got a Komatsu FG15-10 forklift with a Datsun / Nissan D11 engine for free knowing it did not run and needing a timing chain or gear
After taking it apart I see it needs a cam gear
I have searched put have been unable to find one
Any one out there have one
Is it possible to do a nation wide search for one
I will even take a good used one
Looks like they stopped making them in 2016 so I would think that there is one a shelf some where
Thanks for your help

They are the master distributor for Heli forklifts in the West -
You jumped from the frying pan into the fire.
OK
End of story
I could not fined a cam gear or used engine anywhere
I looked all over the world with no luck
So I ended up trading it in for a used Heli fg50 with 5500 hours on it
Needs some work put at least it runs and has a Nissan H20 engine
Any one know the best place to get old Heli parts
Thanks for all your help

Do you have a camshaft gear for this engine
A Datsun D11
Serial No. D11 S24990
Try Tiffin Parts 800-219-6354. They show they offer a cam and crank gear set for a D11. Their part # is TK200.
@nav39
Based on that serial number - this lift truck very well maybe be one of those " gray market" trucks that came from Japan. Often these units had very different engines , wiring harnesses, etc than those units originally built for the US market either produced in Japan or assembled in the US. Unit built for the US market were OSHA/ANSI, UL compliant machines and had larger HP engines.
The serial number would have a Prefix or Suffix with an A in it.
What this means for you service parts will be hard to source as service parts are primarily stock for units that were sold thru the authorized Komatsu distribution channels & dealers. The Grey market sellers were on their own to supply product support manual, technical help & parts. etc for teh units they sold. In California a big time grey market seller i nLA area was Myfran-Bowman - they sold any brand thye could get his hands on - most common units were manual trans with a two 118" mast (most common in Japan), pneumatic/air tires.
TCM FG10N3 has D11PU40-RB Engine.
For engine D11 Parts, call TVH Belgium.
I have stock of spare parts for TCM Forklift and ISUZU Engine.
Regards
Already called them
They do not have one
Try Atlanta Lift Truck Salvage and Absolute Lift Parts. They are both located in Georgia.
Gone but not forgotten John. I still have one a/c with a Buda running up here daily. I see it maybe twice a year. He gets comments from the odd truck driver who remembers them "they were the best, don't get rid of that one"
Someday he will be ready to upgrade again and i will buy it back and add it to the museum I seem to be collecting.
The closest I ever came to flipping a truck was on a 3000lb a/c when I was too young to be driving. I'll never forget them.
Yes I find them on the web put when I call to order it no one has it
Put I am still looking
Komatsu Model FG15-10 Serial No. 18484
Motor - gas - D11
Motor Serial No. D11 S24990
Original part No. 13024-11200
FYI don't ever recall that Allis Chalmers ever used a Datsun and/or Nissan engine. Worked for A-C from '67 thru Dec '81.
They used A-C engines, Continental flat head 4 & 6 cylinders, Teledyne Continental OHV Gas & Diesel 4 cyl, Waukesha and some Perkins models and 1 other make small HP flat head engine that I can't recall - then they close the doors in mid 1986 and sold the company to a guy in Ohio who operated as ACMH for a few years. In 1988 Kalmar bought AC material Handling and operated as Kalmar AC, then in 1999 Kalmar sold out to Komatsu and the lifts were sold as Kalmar AC model for a few years, then Kalmar AC brand name was dropped adn was changed to to Tusk Lift Trucks and somewhere around 2010 the Tusk name died the death of a ragged doll. That ended any linkage back to the original Allis-Chalmers name and brand (FYI Allis-Chalmers bought the Buda company and sold lift under the Buda name for some years). A road well traveled.
Intella Lift parts show that they have one in the $240.00 range. They are in IL.
You should make sure that is the correct part # before ordering one. You might want to call your local Nissan forklift dealer first.
Tcm did use the Datsun engine in some models.
FG15N1 or FG15N2 or FG15N3 ??
Have you Serial Number of your TCM ??
Regards
Thanks for the reply
I believe I have found one on Amazon
They listed it as 13024-11200 Komatsu timing gear put also they have the part no. listed for TCM and ALLIS-CHALMERS
Do you know if TCM or ALLIS-CHALMERS used the Datsun D11 motor at one time. If so this will give me more options for finding parts
It is being sold by EFI Equipment and Parts
I will be getting it in about 4 days. I am hopeful it will be the right one
Thanks
Larry
Update
Got an email from EFI Equipment and Parts
NO they do not have one
So now I am left with only the salvage yard
If any body knows of any more salvage yard Please let me know
The Nissan part# should be 13024-11200. Komatsu and TCM would use the same part # with a N in front of it. It should cost in the low $200 range.
You can probably get a used one at Atlanta Lift Truck or or Absolute Lift Parts, both are in GA. You will probably need the serial # of the truck and the engine. The engine serial # is usually behind the distributor cap.
