Discussion:
Multiton/Jungheinrich

Has anyone had to attempt to buy parts from Multiton (electrics)in Richmond, VA,USA????
In all my years in the parts business, I have never dealt with a more unknowledgable, non-caring, bunch of people in my life.
I left a plethora of calls for the, "Head Manager"?, Parts Manager,
and anyone else that would listen to my pleas for HELP!
My customers truck has been down since 3/17 (yes St. Patty's Day) and do you think they care!! Yeah Right!
Maybe it's me? Does anyone know of an alternative other than buying Multiton from Jungheinrich to acquire the parts????

Hey Guys,
I did get a message left for me yesterday 7/10 from someone claiming to be the "President" of Jugheinrich, but when I returned his cell phone call today 7/11 I got his voicemail......
And guess what??? No return phone call, DUH!
What should we expect.

I'd take those hoses to your best local Parker distributor; I know my local guy would somehow figure out how to convert over from bizarre German fittings.

I have an SW35 & Multiton can't seem to produce the correct feed hoses going from the tee to the bottom of the lift cyl's. They have some odd German fittings on them. Let me know if you can help.
Thanks

We have the same opinion here. Been waiting four days for a call back from them on a battery charger for a brand new lift that went bad. I also understand the Multiton name is being ended and they all are going to be named Jungheinrich. This also means if you are a Multiton dealer you no longer will be unless you were already a "Jungheirich" dealer i.e. we are a Multiton dealer but we are now cut off now from selling their units and buying the parts direct. So all the units we already sold and are serviceing we will not be able to buy parts direct, we will have to buy from the Jungheinrich dealer down the road. Gee, thanks for the memories Multiton.
What did you need for parts,we do still have our own inventory, limited as it is getting.
