Crown SC4540-40:
Multiple Brake changes

My crown electric forklift has had the left and right brakes changed multiple times, and cannot seem to find the cause. We changed both last time thinking that only changing one out might have been the problem. We are also finding it is predominantly the left one that goes bad first. Any help would be appreciated thank you and have a great day.

What do you mean 'goes bad'? Is the brake coil resistance going out of spec? Friction lining burning up? Brake error code on the display? Are you replacing coils/backplates and friction discs? Genuine Crown parts or non-OEM? Need more info.

Fact of the week
In the 1840's Valentine Day cards were popular. But a new trend developed where cynical, sarcastic, often mean-spirited cards were produced to be sent to people you disliked. 'Vinegar valentines' were postcards decorated with a mocking caricature and insulting poem. The unflattering cards reportedly created a stir throughout all social levels.
