Cat Lift Trucks (& Caterpillar) ET4000:
Micro command AC drive NO TRAVEL

Was running unit on blocks and ran down to last bar of BDI and battery light flashes and will not travel F or R. Still had hydraulics. Pushed unit over to charger. After 2 hours still no travel and no codes. Traction fuse is good. Getting voltage to the accel POT and out. Switch works as well when accellerator is pressed. The small toggle switch by the 2 fuses under the floor is in the centered position. Not sure what to look at next.

The on/off switch part of the accellerator Pot was not working. Found the break in the wire where accel harness goes into main harness. Found with a Power Probe. Fixed that and back in business. They run these units completely dead a lot. Micro commands do some crazy *** when they are going dead.

Said the truck has a bad vibration. Drove under load fine. Blocked up to listen to drive units and check steering cut out to find this ghost vibration.
