Discussion:
Mast lowering speed extremely slow

The mast lowers extremely slowly - no matter if it is carrying weight or not. When the lowering handle is used instead of the lowering button it is slightly quicker but still frustratingly slow. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply, good to know. We are sub-tropical so its more about sweat than ice. It seemed to go slower after a recent service so I was wondering if there was any adjustment that could be done to make it quicker, however if that model lowers slowly than I will just put up with it.

That model truck lowers very slow anyway. If you are using the truck in a cold environment, use freezer hydraulic oil.
