I have some general questions I have not been able to find the answers to: 1) Is there a lifting power difference in gasoline versus electric lifts? If so, how much? Also how long would a typical charge on a fully charged electric forklift last?
Also, if anyone knows where to get specific information on battery charger producers. Do the chargers come with the lift?
My last and most pressing question is that if electric forklifts are cheaper to run and can be just a powerful, why does every company not switch to them?

thanks for that. it did help
hi jordan, here a few but, by all means not all the answers you seek. 1) by power,do you mean speed? manufactuers, have different lifting speeds, gas and electric.an electric has a constant speed, where gas is controlled by your right foot. 1a) rated cap. is just that. 2) hard running on an electric, you can get"roughly" 6 hours. charger producers are easy to find (you found this site),lol. chargers are purchased on there own, unless it is sold in a pakaged price. in a warehouse setting i prefer an electric, but it all comes down to operater maintaince, when i go out to check a problem on a gas truck,i have to move chains etc. to raise the hood, this tells me the driver is not checking the fluids, etc. on an electric sitdown lift, the battery is right there, under the hood,to check the water, but by all means,a lazy or careless operater would not even check that. bottem line is there are so many answers to your questions, needless to say,i recommend electrics,as i believe you get better life from it,but again, maintenace is the key. mike
