Discussion:
Leaking Head Leaking

I changed the oil again in my old Clark, and it was milky. It is a 4 cylinder, but not the flat head. It is a C500 Y 50 model, and serial number Y3552673616. I think it was manufactured in 1977.

Can I still get parts for this thing? Who made this engine?

Any guidance is welcome!

There is a breather on the valve cover. You can tap the hole for pipe thread and install a PCV valve. This will stop allot of the condensation from building up in the crankcase. Your engine is a Waukesha.

Possibilities, Waukesha diesel or gas or ford diesel or gas. I have manuals on both.

That's exactly whats happening. It does not leak out any coolant, so I suspect it is the condensation you describe. Anything else I can do to help minimize that?

I think that should be a Waukesha D155 motor. They had problems with lots of condensation forming in the crankcase and turning the oil milky. If it runs ok then there may not be anything wrong with the head/gasket. You should be able to get parts.
