Discussion:
Jungheinrich

Hi,
I have a Jungheinrich EFG216 not lifting or driving giving (error 68 int 4) on the dash. I think this is to do with the seat switch but this is testing ok. Can anyone advise me further?
Any help appreciated!

Apparently the controller is missing the signal, switch might be ok, wiring might be okay, but does the controller get the signal? Maybe a faulty connector?

Controller "sees" a faulty or missing signal from its safety circuit (seatswithc, footpedal-as with the reachtruckmodels- and other safety switches that gives a signal to the controller in order for the controller to "see"that its safe to give an output to drive and/or lift motors.

Fault 68 is described as" safety switch wire breakage" almost in every Jungheinrich model

A quick check would be to make a connection on the controller, bridging the 2 wires from all safety switches..

Thank you for the reply, i assume the deadman is the micro on the battery deadman? Also which footpedal? The deadman micro is also working ok and i am currently checking continuity on the circuit.

68 indicates broken cable in safety circuit, either seat switch or deadman switch.

Check deadman switch, footpedal...
