Discussion:
Hyster s7.00xl bo24

Hi all
I have a hyster s7.00xl serial prefix bo24. Yom 1998.
I have drive in both directions but very slow and even worse in hare mode. Engine is fine but never worked on the transmission on these machines and been told they have a common fault with friction plates.
Any advise would be appreciated
Thanks in advance.

The transmission on these are normally fairly bomb proof as long as you use the right oil in them, it's not got dexron2 atf oil in it as it?? (That's the red stuff) if it has the friction plates will drop in bits lol. It should be running tractran 9 oil.
I worked on busters for years and don't think weever had a problem with the S7.00xl transmissions but we did rebuild a few for customers who decided the run dexron in them

Fact of the week
Bluetooth is named after the 10th-century Viking king, Harald Bluetooth, who united warring tribes in Denmark and Norway. In 1997, Jim Kardach from Intel gave the name to the technology because of its ability to unite different communication protocols, just as Harald united various tribes.
