Hyster S4.00 GM V6 Cuts out

I have a Hyster S4 approx 5 years old with the GM V6 engine fitted with Impco Spectrum gas system. The engine runs for approx 30 seconds and cuts out every time. It re starts straight away without fail anyone come across this?
The module has been substituted along with coil pack/ignition unit and it has new Dis cap rotor arm and plugs fitted.

If this truck has the throttle body carb on it you need to check the throttle position sensor and the governor control. The governor control had a major problem with the gear teeth stripping. If the gear is stripped you can take it off and rotate it 180 to get the truck running.
Good luck

Low/No oil pressure will allow the engine to run 30 seconds at a time.

Thanks for the help........
The Gas solenoid has power until the engine stops. The engine stops dead so it is not burning off the gas in the line. It is being shut down as far as i can tell by the module removing the signal to the ignition unit.

I'll check the multiplug under the foot plate again just incase i missed something first time round.

I would assume that the lockoff is not clogged since it opens and allows fuel during the "starter cranking phase", and that as soon as power is removed from the "starter cranking phase", power is also removed from the lockoff, and as soon as the fuel that had entered the system was burned off the unit shuts down. I do not expect it to be actually the ECM, as it is only doing what it is programed to do if some other failure happens. I would agree with Lance that the wires to or the accel sensor itself being out of specs would cause the ECM to shut off fuel to prevent a "run away" condition. check the voltage and adjust the accel and throttle sensors, and/or get the program and hook up a computer to see the faults. there are other methods to get to see the faults in a spectrum system, but by far the easiest (I think) is with the proper computer program.

Try pulling the floor pan and on the left corner you will see a big orange plug with many wires. I have had a faulty pin connector cause me the same problem your having.

Also, I believe the spectrum has a shut off solenoid on the lock off that gets plugged as well. Remove and clean might help.

Ed has a good point as well with the ECM, But 30 sec's sure sounds like fuel delivery problems

sounds like the ECM is shutting it down as a safety precaution, does the accel pedal position sensor work correctly?
