Hyster J2.50 XM Hydraulic problem

This truck has transistorised drive with contactors and a contactor for hydraulics switched by a control card at valve block. My original problem was hydraulics running continuously.
Found that control card at valve was damaged and burnt on back of card. Fitted new card now I haven't got any hydraulics but if I put the old card back on they run continuously.
Any ideas
Regards
Kev

The serial No is A216A02718U.
Didn't see a jumper lead, unfortunately i've inherited this job from someone else so there might be one.
Have got voltage across my hydraulic coil but can't figure out where it gets its neg from.
