Discussion:
Hydraulics

I have this crown that I've been trying to figure out for 2 weeks. The hydraulics dont work. I've replaced the pump, solenoid, switches and everything else. I've ran test on the access 1 and 3. Ran test on the wiring. Everything checks out fine.
Does anybody have any ideas on where to look for the problem?

Thank you all for your help. I located the problem.
There was a cut in 2 wires in the wire harness.
Once again thank you all for your help.

Answers to appengineer's questions, beyond, "the hydraulics don't work" would be a big help to solve this mystery. Having said that, you can reduce this to two elements: electrics or hydraulics. Operate the truck controls as if lifting while checking for voltage at the motor terminals. If motor runs without lifting, the problem is hydraulic. If voltage appears without motor operation, then safely apply battery voltage directly to the motor terminals with cables. If motor runs, check control circuit for cause of insufficient current to run the motor.
This only a start, but it should get you close.

Some bdi do come together with a lift interrupt function. If this is faulty it will not activate the lift function.Check whether is there a 24 vdc presence at the positive of the lift solenoid when you operate the lift switch. If there is 24vdc presence then it is either the lift solenoid faulty or the lift motor is faulty.

This is an end rider. The only hydraulics is up and down. Everything has been changed concerning the hydraulics. I just tried the jump it didn't do anything. I did have to replace the 15amp fuse again.
There end rust will move just fine but there is 0 hydraulics.

When you say hydraulics do not work, do you mean steering and work functions? You mentioned you replaced the hydraulic pump, did you also replace the priority valve which is located on the back of the hydraulic pump? Any squealing noises when you try to operate a work function? Does the electric motor whine when you try to steer or operate a work function? Is the pump drive motor turning at all? Is there enough oil in the reservoir? Have you replaced the hydraulic filter lately? Did fork truck hydraulics stop all of a sudden or slowly stop working? How many hours on machine? Does battery voltage drop when trying to operated a work function or steering? Does the forktruck propel itself or is that dead also?

Just a hunch, do you have another PE to use it's battery pack with a jumper cable? I've seen it before, 26 volts sitting idle, and when you request power, the voltage dropped under 10 volts. But because your volt meter is slower to see the drop, the truck will cut off because it sees it right away

I checked the limit switch it test fine. The battery is testing 25 volts. Could the access 3 be bad and not be able to test properly without a computer.

Did you check the lift cut out switch by the lift cylinder? How much charge is the machine showing on the bdi for the battery?

The only thing you didn't say is you checked the motor brushes and blew out all the brush dust
