How to read battery discharge indicator

Can someone explain how to read the battery discharge indicator, no mention of this in manual or service manual.

When I switch the key on, all four lamps light up, but after a few seconds, only the one on the bottom stays lit. Does this mean low charge?

Thank you, that's what I thought. My pallet jack has 4 individual deep cycle batteries in series, are those voltage figures still appropriate?

dixster,

The bdi should have all lights lit when fully charged, drop as the batteries are being used. If the BDI is not a full charge after being charged all night, need to check fluid level in batteries, all cable connections. When plugging in charger, test battery voltage to what the charging voltage is. Could have a failed charger or weak batteries. You should only charge when battery voltage drop to 24 volts. Fully charged the voltage reading should be 27 to 28 volts depending on the age. Good luck

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.

In March 2002, identical twins in Finland died on the same day in similar accidents within hours of each other. A 70-year-old man was killed by a truck while cycling; hours later, his twin brother was killed by a truck on the same road, about a mile away, before the family had been informed of the first accident.
