High Pitched Beeping

Gents,

Hopefully you guys can help me out once again.

We have a high pitched buzz/beep when the ignition is switched off. the truck is in neutral and the handbrake is applied. The only way i can stop this noise is to remove teh display or battery supply

One possible cause is the handbrake switch is broken, so even though the brake is applied the buzzer goes off. The switch should have a metal actuator arm on top, this is what breaks off.
