Discussion:
High Idle

Hello, I am working on an 8Fgcu25 serial 19741. Unit has an idle of 1275 according to the multifunction display and clearly is too high. No codes. No broken wires that I can find. I have checked all that I know having worked on these units since they were new. I haven't ran across this issue to this point. Has anyone seen this issue? Drives as it should, the only time it can idle down is unplugging the throttle body. At that point, there is a code and obviously no throttle response.
Thanks

Check for vacuum leaks I had one with a high idle where the PCV valve was disconnected from the valve cover

Check for any vacuum leaks. I have seen the PCV hose come off the valve cover and cause a high idle. Also you can adjust the idle via the multifunction display however I believe you can only go from 650 to 750

Foundling hatches are safe, anonymous drop-off points for unwanted infants, allowing parents in crisis a way to surrender a baby safely without fear of punishment, ensuring the child is rescued and cared for. The concept started in the 12th century, was abandoned in the late 19th century, then reintroduced in 1952. It has since been adopted in many countries.
