Help with Yale MPB040E electric pallet jack & alarm AL01-Need repair manual

We have a Yale MPB040E electric pallet jack. The handle was damaged at one point and we ordered a replacement handle. We put the pallet jack on a pallet and placed it up high and out of our way until we had time to work on it. When we had time we pulled it down and noticed that now the batteries were dead. Ordered batteries and replaced and tried the jack. No go! The unit powers up and 4 green lights power on with what looks like a slide rule (?) and shows EP107, then red light flashes and AL01 appears. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Where can we get a service manual?

Thank you for your response! We need the schematic diagrams for this unit to make sure it is connected properly. Where can we get the diagrams and or repair manual? Thank you in advance!

AL01, 1 flash.

Condition- Connection/communication error between control card and traction motor.

Truck response- traction and hoist functions diabled.

Possible cause and test proceedures

1) Loose or damaged elec. connection between control card and controller. Verify connection at controller, verify wire harness connection at base of steer handle, verify connection at control card.

2) Damaged or defective control card.
Measure voltage at pin 5, connector C on the controller. W/ control card disconnected, this should be about 12V; w/ the card connected, it should be about 3 - 9V. A reading of 0V or 12V w/ the card connected means that the card or connector pins are damaged.

I would double check where you connected the handle.
