Yale GLCO50VX:
help with fault code

I am not sure model of lift I am not at work but it is diesel and a 12000 pound lift and it's giving me a fault code of 2000-12 and won't start any advice on were to start looking or ideas is very much appreciated thank you in advance

The code comes right back when cleared the wire got burnt that goes to the hydraulic cooling fan and it melted plug two would that be cause of the code coming up or did this short out the vcm and fry it

2000-12 is a "can bus error", ?maybe introduced while disconnecting things (like the vcm, ecm or dash) while troubleshooting?, but could even be a bad VCM, or dash or ecm.
Can you clear the codes and see if it comes back?
