Discussion:
Gray Market Forklift? Nissan 3000

Hello,

Maybe this post should be in the 'Nissan Japan' area and not the 'Nissan USA'. I recently won a Nissan 3000 forklift at Auction and I'm trying to find out model #, etc. I'm not sure if it's a gray market forklift that found it way to the US.

The plate on the dash is only in Japanese, with the following info:

Japanese characters - NF01
Japanese characters - NF01A15
Japanese characters - 1500 kg
Japanese characters - 3000 mm (I assume this is the lifting capacity)
Japanese characters - 2675 kg
Japanese characters - NF01-020360

Engine #:
A38898
1483CC - This is the engine size, I think the engine may be a Datsun J15, still trying to figure out....

Big question - What model do I have?

Any help is appreciated.

Most of the grey market trucks that came through had clutches. The model is NF01A15. F01 is the series, 15 means it's a 3000lb capacity forklift. 3000mm is probably the lifting height.
It is most likely the J15 engine.
