Fuel Filter Parts

Does anyone know what is the part right after the Lpg Fuel filter? The gas enters the filter then passes through that equipment and then enters the regulator through a steel pipe. It has a round black cylindrical shape.

The part you are speaking about is the fuel lock this shuts the gas down when the engine is not running or cranking. It is a safety value so no gas is sent to the lpg regulator. Hope this helps.
