forward and backward

I have a 1997 6000 lb 4x4x4 and it will not go forward or backward.
Any suggestions?

The trans has electric solenoids that opens the flow of fluid to the forward and reverse clutch packs. check for power at the solenoids.
Oh, this posting is old. you probably fixed it already.
