Forklift fitted with Graziano TXL25 Transmission HELP NEEDED

We have recently rebuilt a TXL25 transmission because of low main pressure, when we stripped down the transmission it was found to have a worn pump. We also replaced all the sealing rings (steel ring similar to piston ring). Since the transmission was refit the main pressure is correct. However the torque convertor outlet pressure is high. Graziano manuals stats 4.5 to 5 bar at 2000rpm at 100 degrees C. We are getting 7.5 bar at 2000 rpm and 100 degrees C. We have checked the control valve and there is no worn or sticking parts.
Is there something i could be missing?

What problems would it cause if the pressure was left at 7.5 bar?

i have spoke to them but it sounds like they don't work on many forklift transmission. They just quote me from the book. for example in the book it says high pressure - check for sticky valves. It doesn't say were the high pressure is and what valves are sticking. The Graziano technical gave me the same answers. All other pressure are ok but torque convertor pressure is 2 bar too high.

Hi Leon,

We've rebuilt a few of these transmissions from Fiat trucks but in all honesty i can't answer your question.

However have you spoken to Graziano themselves at St Neots in Cambridgeshire. We've always found their technical department very helpful.

Service life of a forklift is proportional to how well it is maintained.
