Discussion:
Fault code 4123.11

Hello, first time posting here. I am a service tech with a Jungheinrich dealer. I have been dealing with an EFG220 that will intermittently throw code 4123.11. This code shows when the controller does not receive feedback from the park brake switches within 500 milliseconds. These two switches must work simultaneously. Originally the truck had a couple of other codes including the 4123.11 and it was determined that the controller was faulty. The controller was replaced and all codes except the 4123.11 went away. Park brake switches have also been replaced. The brake coil resistance is within spec and the switches are getting the proper voltage. The truck will work fine for awhile then throw the code. This happens when the truck is moving, or when key is cycled On. I've also had it show after a minute of turning the key to On without moving the truck. If the code only showed while traveling, I would say its a wire or connection issue. The fact that the code will will also show without the truck moving makes this issue more confusing. When the code shows, the way to clear it is to turn the key Off, hold park brake button, then turn key to On while still holding the park brake button. Has anyone dealt with this issue? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

replace brake coils or be sure the metal plate behind the coil perfectly and have not damage. coils lose pulling force after start or drive

Saludos y muchas suerte cualquier cosa me escribis.

Hi! How are you? Surely the brake was worn. I saw this flaw many times but in the form 1123 in efg 220/320. At first you could only start the equipment without failure as you decide, pressing the brake from the moment you turn the ignition key and until the self-check ends. After a while this no longer worked and had to disassemble brakes and change discs.
By the manufacturer these brakes are maintenance free but this is not true because we have made several changes to these brake discs in the company where I worked. Greetings and good luck, anything you write to me.
