Discussion:
EV-100 Adjustments

Hi Everyone,

Can someone tell me how to adjust a EV-100 card; crrep speed, ramp, etc.

I need to adjust this card for it is better performance going down and up on a risky ramp.

Also, how do I know when truck reach it is full speed, I suspect it is not being bypassing the 1-A contactor.

Any help is appreaicted - Luis

Hi Edward,

Thank you for your feedback, what I do notice is what you have told me in regards there is a 95% pulsing the SCR and honestly I do not see any difference between if 1-a is on or off at the time I fully it acelerated.
the serial number i am talking about is RC-3020-30 series 3000 and S/N 1A128583

Yes. I do have the handset to calibrate the spped control.
do you have a basic parameter to verfied them in a ramp traveling?

Kind regards,

Luis

this is particular to the make, model and serial number of the truck. some [most] need to be done with a handset. do you have an ev100lx handset?

The only way to know if 1a is pulling in is to hear the click of the contactor, in ev100 there is very little added power during 1a, and the controller still pulses with about 95% on time.
if 1a does not work, you may get overheating of the controller on high speed long run operations (with high ambient temperatures)
