Error Code on Toyota 8FGCU25...Help!

Hi folks,
Can anyone assist with error code 71-1 on a Toyota 8FGCU25 unit? In the perfect world, a list of codes for this machine would be gold, as one of our larger service customers recently purchased two. Thanks so much for your help!

page 19-97 We have quite a few with syncronized steering. Usually the king pin bearing fails and lets the king pin disengage from the pot and then it pushes the pot apart.

Code 71-1 is for the tire angle sensor. Its located on top of I think the right king pin. The 1 suffix means it sees the sensor as open.
