Discussion:
Error Code E250

We run 4 toyota 8hbw23 walkie pallet jacks in my shop and on our trucks. One fell over in the truck and was loaded with corrosion as some of the water from the batteries got on the connections. It worked fine for a few months and we removed the connections and took a wire brush to the battery terminals to remove the corrosion. Went to turn it back on and got an error code of E250. Can't find anything online about this code. Has anyone dealt with this before? This happened yesterday(saturday) my dealer is not open. It kills me that the unit was running fine and then I took wrench to the terminals and a wire brush and now its not working.

Yes, my jack has the same code E-250 and looking for the battery problem.... I checked the power cables and connector and found out that all the batteries were dry, no water. I filled them up and put it to charge.... Now is working fine.

Check your voltage at the connector. You will know if you have the correct voltage or a wire crossed.

If you are trying to access trouble codes. Look at what kind of controller it has some codes are specific to their controller rather than the unit & model.

Had the same code E250 pop up. Could hear contactors clicking rapidly before code finally showed up. Voltage was at 22.5. My jack ended up having 1 bad battery (4 - 6volts), which when tested showed as having a bad cell.

Dreamt I was fixing a machine, then came the paperwork and it turned into a nightmare.
E250 is the charger in sleep mode. Plug it in for a few minutes to wake it up. If that doesn't work, check the display for a version from the charger. It could be a communication problem from the charger.
