Discussion:
Error Code C2-2

Anybody got any idea how to remedy this code? I know its a drive motor thermo sensor abnormality. The maintenance book tells me to use a special service tool to connect to a wiring harness. Not sure about the process. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hi guys,

I've got a similar issue C2-2 but also with error E2-2 which is saying both hydraulic and drive motor temperature sensors but I find that difficult to believe that both sensors would just fail at the same time

Can you access the dasboard menu,s?
The European 7FB comes with a dasboard that is accessable to change settings, you can also access to test parts.
Underneath the plate with the gaspeddle you see the drivemotor, there are 2 connectors, 1 is for the drivesensor and the 1 with the 2 wires is for the temp. sensor.
You can check the resistance there and compare with the one from the hydr. pumpmotor.

According to the maintenance book i have to disassemble the mast, pull the differential and the drive motor..... and tear the motor apart just to test the thermo sensor. What do you mean test it in analyzer mode?? What is I/O MONITOR 1/014, TD????

You can check the sensor in Analyzer mode=I/O MONITOR 1/014,TD Temperature check
My quess is that the cpu board is defect, the temp. sensor hardly faills.
If you have a spare 7FB with same board i would change them.
You can check the temp.sensor with Ohm meter and compare with the hydr.pumpmotor sensor, they are the same.
