Have code -48. {Low voltage at T2}Have question about a part.GE cat #171B3939G4.Looks like white porcilin sandwiched between metal blocks. Its located, Between capacitors, An control card. Upper current sensor shunt bolts into one side. Other side attaches to SCR1[atT2] Though metal strapes. Is it rectifier assembly#3. Can I Switch ,This part into another lift.To find out if Its the problem? Thanks Kent

Checked the contacts they look good.switched out the #3 rec.,Into another truck. That has now stopped working.(no for/rev code,-48)The lift Id been having the trouble with,Is still going.I believe I have solved this one.Have #3 rectifier ordered.Kent
Yes you can check out the suppressor across D3 for short circuit also check the condition of the direction contacts they may be welding and you can switch recs.

HI, I have checked d3 diode. Its good.Infinity one way 7 14 the other.Ive even switched the diodes from one truck to the other.same problem happens. for/rev stops working.for/rev contactors dont close.get a code -48. Would it hurt to switch the rectifiers.Im not wanting to buy a new one,Then find out its not the problem.Their is 2 suppressors attached to the rec.Is their a way 2 check them?Could they cause a problem? Thanks Kent

This could be a problem with the D3 diode loosen of the cathode end from connection and check for short circuit between cathode and anode you should have infinity reading in one direction and seven to twelve ohms in the other direction, a shorted diode could lower the voltage at T2,
