Discussion:
Electronic Safety & Management Systems

I have been testing and comparing different Monitoring Systems. G-Force, ID Sysytems, Shockwatch and Keytroller to name a few. All are good systems, but ID Systems is by far the greatest system. I really like the communication in real time between operator and supervisor. Also, is the fact that you can view every lift as it moves throughout the fullfillment center in real time. All safety, maintenance and managment aspects are met. Again inreal time.

It sounds too good to be true. My question is: Is there anyone out there who has or is using this system and what are your thoughts? Positive or Negative.

Rusty,

I have worked with and distribute many of the systems you are talking about. Each of them has its own unique strenths and weaknesses - they also require different amounts of capital to purchase. The ID systems offering is very unique and does a tons of things - I was amazed at what it can do. If you have 50+ units and the need for features such as GPS and the budget to afford the system then it is the best in my opinion. Systems such as Shockswitch and Powerkey are one step down and have some of the features including RF reporting but at a lower cost. I do believe the Toyota plant in Georgetown KY uses ID Systems and really likes it, so you might contact them and go tour their location? Feel free to contact me at 740-763-4978 if you want to talk about the systems or if you would like to discuss training, since we are not far from your Amazon locations in KY and would love to talk with you. I hear you occupy the old Clark manufacturing facility in Lexington, that was a nice building - sad to have seen Clark take most everything over seas.
