Discussion:
Electrics? Battery?

Hi all,

I recently purchased a Linde E12 for my unit, she is an old girl 1997, but small and perfect for what I need. I had the batteries replaced today (praying it works for more than 30mins!) one thing I noticed, even with the key out the light stays on. Of course, I unplug the batteries from the mains and it goes off, but just wondering if there might be a simple fix or someone has come across it before? It just feels like its spending battery unnecessarily.... Even with the new battery...

I didn't pay much and even with the batteries it's still a great value truck, but I hope I haven't got a dud one and the battery was just a crack cover lol.

Thanks very much.

What is the serial #. If it starts with 322... or 324... then there is an orange light that comes on with the key switch and then there is a Battery discharge indicator with a green, yellow and red light and depending on the charge in the battery one of the lights will stay on when the battery is plugged in. It would take years to drain the battery with either light on.

What do you mean by batteries, it should have one big battery.
