Discussion:
Electric forklift

I am trying to move an electric 36v forklift out of a warehouse, but the problem is there is no battery in the forlikft. It still runs. Can I hook up 3 12v batteries in series and move the forklift that way temporary or is there a better suggestion?

Thanks in advance!

Yes you can. Many dealers have a home made battery pack to move units out of trailers or around the shop. Make sure your connections are VERY good as the batteries will get hot as they are not designed to deliver several hundred amps for several minutes

Take time to do the job right the first time, or you will have to make time to do the job over
