Electric Brake Release

Lift won't move at all and I need to release the brake. How is that accomplished?

Under the front cover, on the wire harness next to the controller, you will find a empty connector, it will be tagged Brake Bypass, you will also fine the same connector marked brake, this one will be connect to the controller, disconnect the brake wire and plug in the brake bypass connector. This will put battery voltage to the brake and allow you move the jack.

If you have good battery power there should be a plug you can connect the brake wire into. Upper right side of main wire harness.

If you have weak or no battery volts you should remove brake assembly 3 allen bolts on top of the drive motor
