Remove both kick panels in the foot steps. Check ground wires. There should be 2 attached to the mounting bolt for the VCM on the RH side. And a bunch attached to a bolt on the LH side. Repair if broken and clean mounting connection.

Check VCM and accelerator sensor connectors for corrosion and broken wires.

Check wiring from VCM to Accelerator.

I WOULD check signal to petal on signal 1 when in gear l believe you are loosing the signal wire when in gear ohm wire from petal to computer there is a short or open in wire also petal will put truck in limp mode.

There are only a few things that will trigger limp mode in your machine. Low engine oil pressure, transmission temp, overheating engine and I believe MAF sensor. Make sure to check the connections on the trans temp sensor on the side of the transmission case. Either wire unhooked, broken, or just a bad connection. Or it might be a bad temp sensor also. Good Luck

The word "robotics" was coined by Russian-born American science-fiction writer Isaac Asimov who first used the word in 1942 in his short story 'Runabout'. He characterised robots as helpful servants and as "a better, cleaner race."
