Discussion:
Drives forward, but not always in reverse

I Have a Yale GLP040AF which often times will only go into after slamming body backwards against seat while shifting into reverse. Any thoughts or suggestions?

firstly, check you fwd/rev signals at the control valve solenoids, also check the switch/s at the directional switch.
If all is ok in both of those areas and the electrical is good then you'll have to check pressures and see if it's a clutch pack issue.
