Hello robie

My customer also washed this Toyota and ran it till it blew a drive transistor TMD on new year day. Today I changed one TMD on the upper right side and it blew another one on the left side. Then I changed it again and it blew the one I just changed. I am quite sure it already dried and reassemby was correct. Or should I change all the TMD at once? Please advise.

I've pressure washed plenty of electric counter balance trucks over the years.

If the battery is diconnected & there left to dry out correctly i've never had a problem.

Normally leave them in front of the heater for a few days.

Got ya man, same thing happened to me at the beer warehouse... They pressure washed the truck, ac type drive motor, blew a transistor pack behind the capacitor board in the drive controller compartment on the left hand side with all of the boxes inside, had to remove the whole controller panel, bus bars, everything. This little cutie cost a thousand dollars to replace, and there is 3 of them, it is called the tmd, transistor, motor drive, it was cooked!!! It takes alittle time, and alot of masking tape, but it can be removed, just waiting on the part now...

It is probably still wet somewhere. Maybe put it out in the sun and blow off all the wire plug connectors with compressed air. It may take a few days to dry out.
