Crown 30SCTT:
drive bearing and motor

I have a 30SCTT. left drive wheel is locked up tight. A tech on this forum said it is most likely the bearing. Right wheel spins freely when the forklift is blocked up. It appears that there are three very large bolts holdind the drive assy to the frame and 4 bolts go through it to hold the motor on to it. Can anyone give me some idea on how to get this off and access the drive bearing? Thanks much.

Check the brake isn't locked up. Even if a bearing has seized solid in the gearbox you should be able to rock the brake disc fwd/back a tiny amount.
