Dead Forklift

Hi Guys
Wonder if anyone could advise?
Our electric forklift has complely died with no responce from it at all.
If we plug in the battery the screen will light up for a couple is second the go blank. switching on and off makes no difference its dead.

its a 2019 machine and does very little work, Junheinrich have been out and told us its the Drive Controller and £10k + Vat to fix it.

Can you please share the serial number of your forklift? and part number of faulty controller which Jungheinrich have been shared to you.

As Jungheinrich are only offering a 6 month warranty on the part we are considering scrapping this machine which is a shame as it's a great fork lift in fantastic condition.
But can we risk the part going faulty again and another £10k to fix it.

I've seen similiar cases, and symptoms seem to be the same. I'm sorry but most probably the controller is bad.
As if it were other components, the screen would display some sort of error. Also even if you could source the part cheaper, it's not plug n play and Jungheinrich would need to configure it.
On older machine they used three separate controllers, and one was cheaper. This is a combination controlöer thus making it more expensive.
