Crown RC5530:
dead battery...how can i release brakes to pull on trailer

Hi , is there a way to release the brakes on a crown 5530 so we can load onto a trailer.....also but not as important the steering will we be able to turn it with no power?

thanks,,,,we ended up putting 3 12 volt car batteries together and plugging in....then under the left "hood" are 2 connectors... one of them is marked "TOW" unplug one and replace with the TOW plug and wala!!!! brakes are off

there should 2 holes toward the center of the brake. you can put bolts in there the same size as the mounting bolts and release the brake. you'll have to do both wheels. It will still steer but is very difficult with no power.
