dash display

I have the word "hand" displayed on dash only in FWD,but the truck works fine. Any help on this would be great.

Good point @southernviking and very true. I have R&Red 2 sets in the last year for that reason.

It's all just nuts n' bolts.
The wiring to the optical switches are very small, if not installed correctly, can break close tithe optical sensors

Since you have "hand" rather than "center handle" I assume you have a standard display rather than enhanced display. Follow the checks for your latest stored event codes. They should be codes 243-248 and/or 333-343. Most of all pertaining to Pot1 and Fwd Rev opto switches. You can try a handle recalibrate but typically another action will be required. Commonly the opto's are dirty and just need cleaned.
