Crown. SP3000 s/N : 1A248403 code 208??

Can somebody tell me please, what this code mean. CODE 208
this is an Order Picker SP3000 having the EVT100 System
traction and steering don't work. hydraulics ok.

208 is a steering error no movement detected at selftest -bad steer motor or encoder is probably the cause steer feedback encoder is the most common you will need a service terminal to test and replace encoder
