Crown SP3020:
Crown sp 3500

I'm working on a Crown SP 3500 ac drive truck. It intermittetly slows down to a crawl once or twice a week for maybe 10 seconds then goes back to normal speed. Platform is all the way lowered when this happens and moving the throttle handle doesn't effect speed. There are no height switches on this truck ,it has a height encoder. No codes are registered when the truck is moving slow. Any one have any ideas? Thanks.

The speed on the sp 3500 stock picker is set to 3.4 which is incredibly slow , the access code (2311) is invalid. Is there another code that could enable me to change the speed?

Maximum speed on the SP3500 AC Drive is 7.5MPH, you will go through alot of load wheels and drive tires at this speed...

Found the problem. The pot would intermittently lose.5-1.0 v while going forward for a couple of seconds, then go back to normal volts. Swapped it out and truck runs great. Thanks for the help.

Go into the SERVICE menu level 2,enter the password(2311) and go to ANALIIZER menu. Select A2.3.3 and look at the Accelerator POT voltage reading while operating the travel at full throttle. Make sure the POT isn't turning to far past it's sweep.

The now-ubiquitous 'Keep Calm and Carry On' phrase was coined by the British government in 1939 to encourage its citizens to stay strong. Posters with the slogan were printed but never officially issued and only unearthed in 2000.
