Daniel,

Code 2000-12 suggest a problem with communication between the ACU and VSM. Check the connections on the CANBUS system between the two. The VSM is mounted under the kick panel right side. The wires you need are on CPS8, pins 2 and 9. The CPS8 connector is on the right side, forth one down from top. The interface module pins47 and 48 at CRS202. Verify.5 ohms or less from VSM to module. Check green 900 and yellow 901 to make sure they are not shorted together. If all connections are tight and clean, suspect interface module is failing. What engine does the lift have? Serial number would help. Good Luck.

The hard to do we do right away. The impossible just takes a little longer.
Completed the tests u suggested, and everything is still in spec getting a combined 4.99 volts between A and B. And am getting 59.1ohm.
Will still start and run for about a minute or so and then die. Or not start at all.
Any suggestions?

Daniel,

Complete the CANBUS circuit test first. The steer column has a rubber cover on the right side. Under the cover is a test port computer connection. The two top sockets are A and B. The bottom one is C. A ad B should read about 2.5 volts with key switch on and using C as the ground. The voltage can vary between the two 1 to 1.5 volts. As long as it is close to 4.5 volts your good. If you read nothing, try a different ground. If it reads now, bad ground. With battery disconnected, VOM set on ohms, check resistance between pins A and B. Should read about 60 ohms. If you read 120, bad termination resistor. If you have the Kubota 3.8, check wires from ACU to VSM. The ACU is a module mounted on the left side that helps the ECU talk to the VSM. The 155's were also known to have a failed left side harness. With everything connected and switch on, move the harness up and down. Watch the display and see if code changes. Good Luck.
