Been unplugging accelerator unit and throttle body with key switch on have you? If not then check for broken wires on both the ETC and accelerator unit. If no broken wires then you may have a etc going south. Good possibility you have a couple wires shorted near the etc connector. If unit is running ok and the MIL isn't illuminated then it will pass.
