code F1 is a nuciance code. The manufacturer has newer firmware to correct it but its pricy try cleaning all of your connections at the carriage card and if you have lights check the light assembly wiring for shorts

Oh and I knew my password, thankfully. And it wasn't factory but was reset by the local service company. all good there
hold lift and horn while held turn key on this will bring the password menu up. factory passwords are 1 and 2 for superword. I would bet you need a carraige control card. check power supply voltages and check for shorts to frame on the carraige control card connectors. also check for continuity and cross talk in the overmast cable. if all ok your card is toast.
clean all your contactors and make sure none are sticking, they should have good contacts and be clean.
and yes you are correct, the access routine is horn button + up function while turning on the key, but this only gains you access to the passcode menu, you need to know the correct passcode to gain access to the main menus. Raymond was notorious for changing these randomly to new codes every month. They NEVER keep them at the factory default settings which are Ray1 and Ray2. So unless you know the current passcodes you will not gain access to the service menu's.
