Discussion:
CODE EP105 & EP107

I have a lift that is throwing code ep105 and ep107. The jack wont lift or travel. Just wondering if anyone has had this same problem or knows what the codes mean.

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,
Not being familiar with this model I would not normally comment on your post, but I take it that it is a Yale pedestrian truck, check your battery is fully charged with no faulty cells. Switch your truck on and check you have power to your line contractor and also to the output side. These contractors have a sensing circuit as well as a contact pull in winding and they do go wrong. I'm just thinking Yale will build most of there MP trucks on similar lines and therefore it stands to reason that the usual problems one encounters will be the same through out the range.

the EP105 and EP107 are not alarm codes, those are most likely Model and software versions that flash on display when first turning on machine.
Alarm codes are ALxx codes generally for zapi control systems.
If it is not displaying any codes on the display gain access to the controller and look on it, there should be a light flashing on it, see if it is flashing in any pattern. The pattern will probably be in intervals showing the 2 digit code, flash x number of times, pause for a sec and then flash the 2nd digit, then pause for 3 or 4 secs or so and repeat.

If you are not getting any codes at all there then your problem is elsewhere and the controller is not picking it up.
