Could you tell me what code 228 is? Unit also displays on the LCD left pedal switch discharge.

I would recommend testing your pump motor as it may be grounding to the case.

good morning

Crown 5200 D.C.

I am having the same issue code 228. after Troubleshoot and replaced the ED contactor, fuses, battery connectors check all connections and replaced access 2 and 3, after all this code 228 still comes back.

i don't know what to check now, please any advice on how to proceed? I appreciate your help.

also if battery has been worked hard, pump motor brushes could be slightly swollen and stuck in brush holders making poor contact with com bars..,

Check the pump motor power fuse (FU8). Also, look at the condition of the ED tips, Cables, Battery Connection, etc.

Code 228 is related to the items above. If all check good replace access2.
