Discussion:
chokes off when lifting

My "new to me" Hyster H120 chokes off sometimes when I am lifting with it. It seems to me like the throttle does not kick in like it is supposed to, but I am not sure what to do about it. Any help is appreciated!

I do not have any codes. Where would I check to see if this lift is eligible for the update?

There may be an update needed depending on serial number. There was an update for anti-stall that could be added. Are you seeing any fault codes on the dash?

The throttle seems normal for this type of lift. It runs great other than this. It does not have any codes.

How does the throttle react without load? does it throttle to governed speed? Is there codes coming up on the display?
