chinese manufacturer pending purchas by Naco

it's been rumored that Naco Hyster / Yale is negotiating with a Chinese manufacturer of forklifts. Is there any truth to this rumor?

All about FORKLIFTS.
Also heard that Liu Dong is actively looking for forklift partners they can acquire to get them into the US market.

Would not be surprised if NACCO is looking to sell. The family owners of the company are not getting any younger. HYG does sell a Chinese Mfg truck called Utilev for basic applications. Dealers in the US are larger with smaller dealers being merged or retired. Hyster/Yale dealers have eliminated Hys or Yale from their company name.

It would all depend on who you herd the information from in the first place. Then look at the information like HY profits droping, the need for a sale, larger manufactures getting larger and developing more market share. It would also fit with what we have herd that HY are looking to close Nijmegen

Sorry I wasn't clear. The unconfirmed rumor is that a Chinese manufacturer is looking to acquire HY, not that HY is looking to acquire a Chinese manufacturer?

I don't understand. Do you mean there is a rumor that a Chinese manufacturer is looking to purchase HY (Hyster-Yale)?

at a guess it would be true, Hyster / Yale were looking for a sale a couple of years ago but no one came in to buy them, they work with Hangcha and also KION is now Chinese owned so it might be one of these. It won't be Heli, So if this was to be true it will be Hangcha or KION
