Tennant M20:
Check Engine Light

I have a Tennant M20 that is throwing an occasional check engine light. It flashes and once in a while the engine will bog down. Im having trouble finding literature on this truck and really dont want to call the dealer. Does anyone know how to pull any trouble codes from these?

sweeperland.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/Advance-Condor-XL-Service-Manual.pdf Look at pages 8 and 9. the kit is 800 bucks. Proprietary connector on frame rail inside engine compartment. Round plug cover that you would think was a relay right between engine and pump. I've overlooked it several times swapping parts to try to t/s issue old school.

Hey Rooster, my truck is new enough that it has the new PSI engine setup by Mitsubishi, instead of the GM engines used in the past. I called tennant for a service manual for the engine, and they said it doesnt exist!! xxxxx
Anyway, I started to go through it the old fashioned way, pulling spark plugs, filters, etc. I found the fuel filter to be very dirty. I didnt have one in stock, but I cleaned it out with brake cleaner, reinstalled, and viola - Truck runs great with no issues. Im due for my 400hr service kit specified in the tennant manual, however when I received it, I got all wrong parts (The sent stuff for the GM engine setup) But since cleaning the fuel filter behind the LP converter, its ran great.

Still having the issue... Truck will run for about 30 minutes then shuts down. Check engine light comes on after start up. I have the Tennant service manual, and I combed through all 200 freaking pages, and not once did it mention anything about the check engine light. And the only thing in the operators manual says to "contact a tennant representative" Which we all know is freaking ****.

Anyone know how to access the trouble codes related to the check engine light?!?!?!
